GdB Pitch (formerly McFarland Communications) is the new public relations division of creative shop GdB. GdB Pitch offers clients nimble, thoughtful and creative senior level media relations, storytelling and social content planning and implementation AND with GdB in the house we can also offer clients the full range of advertising services including creative and digital strategies, media buying, branding, research and more.

What that means is we can now tap into every marketing discipline to get the best results for our client's budgets.

Bio - Teresa McFarland
Teresa McFarland In her 25 years of experience, Teresa has managed communications for two governors and a congressman. She spent nearly four years working for Mall of America, during the mall’s disruptive teen years when crisis and creativity went hand-in-hand. For the past 17 years she has managed her own agency, which included consulting for Weber Shandwick’s Financial Services Division for several years. In addition, she served as Communications Director for the 2008 Republican National Convention’s Host Committee. Teresa recently merged her agency with GdB to form GdB Pitch, which still provides stellar media relations, story telling and digital strategies, but also offers fully integrated marketing solutions for its clients.

Erika Frederick With a passion for helping clients tell their stories and connect with key audiences, Erika excels in executing integrated public relations programs as well as crisis readiness and response for clients across industries. She is experienced in providing strategic counsel and communications support on corporate acquisitions, media relations, social strategy, executive visibility, issues management, crisis readiness and response, product promotion and internal communications. Prior to McFarland Communications, Erika spent more than eight years in the corporate practice at Weber Shandwick, Minneapolis managing clients like Polaris Industries, The Opus Group and Dairy Management Inc.

Laura Telander Graf Laura is a skilled communicator, experienced in both the corporate and agency world. With an uncanny knack for crafting messages and eloquently putting them to paper, her writing and creative skills are second to none. A master multi-tasker, Laura’s usually juggling news release development, editing, media outreach and interview prep simultaneously.
